The new 153 buses aim to help "minimize the mobility constraints that city dwellers in the country's capital have experienced in recent days.
In a statement quoted by the newspaper Opaís, the transport company reported that it has been following "with great concern the constant floods of passengers at bus stops, particularly these days, when social distancing is the new imperative for healthy coexistence".
In the note, TCUL also complains that some of its vehicles have been sabotaged, stating that although it has been increasing its fleet, this scenario has made it difficult to combat the difficulties of mobility.
In the delivery ceremony, which takes place this Wednesday, will be present the Minister of Transport, Ricardo D'Abreu.
