In the last farewell to Sindika Dokolo, which took place on Tuesday, November 17 at Westminster Cathedral in London, Isabel dos Santos accompanied the coffin alone and gave a short and moving speech where she asked God for strength. Among the family that was present there was a familiar face, that of José Eduardo dos Santos, father of Isabel dos Santos and father-in-law of Sindika Dokolo.

At the ceremony, the daughter of José Eduardo dos Santos, former Angolan president, walked the central nave of Westminster Cathedral alone. Behind the coffin, Isabel dos Santos walked to the sound of the song 'Hail Mary'.

According to the Jornal de Notícias, Isabel dos Santos made a brief speech, full of emotion. Although her voice failed, the businesswoman never lost her posture.

In her speech, she asked God to protect her husband's soul and also to give strength to family and friends to overcome this loss.

Besides Isabel dos Santos, Sindika Dokolo's daughter and a sister also intervened in the funeral.

The funeral took place in London, but the funeral ceremonies were extended to Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Those who could not attend had the opportunity to follow the ceremonies from home, as they were broadcast live and live by ZAP Viva, a channel founded by Sindika Dokolo. In the homage rendered by the channel, musical moments and masses were broadcast in Kinshasa, where the entrepreneur was born.

Sindika Dokolo died last October 29th in a diving accident in Dubai. He was 48 years old.
