In the school community of that institute, located in Sumbe, province of Kwanza Sul, 149 cases of covid-19 have been identified.
Faced with this situation, the Provincial Technical Commission of covid-19 asked parents, guardians and the population of Kwanza Sul to remain calm, underlining that the situation is under control.
In a communiqué, quoted by Angop, the commission took the opportunity to appeal to the population to respect all biosecurity measures, among which frequent hand washing, to maintain a safe distance and avoid crowds.
The institute has more than 600 students registered.
