Despite the current times, Angolans are joining forces to fight the covid-19 pandemic, with the restaurants having their doors open, promising to comply with all safety and hygiene measures.
The main objective is once again the democratization of access to good quality restaurants, not forgetting the social nature of the initiative. Again, for each Restaurant Week menu sold, 500 kwanzas will be donated to Dom Bosco homes in Luanda.
The menu values are fixed, costing 7,000 kwanzas and 9,000 kwanzas for lunch, depending on the choice of two or three dishes and 10,000 kwanzas for dinner (three dishes with home delivery).
The initiative, which started this Monday, runs until 6 September at the 22 participating restaurants (20 in Luanda and two in Lobito). In line with the country's current situation, this edition has a strong home delivery / delivery component, the organization says in a statement sent to VerAngola.
