The new restaurant, which opened this Thursday, in a ceremony attended by the Minister of Tourism, Márcio Daniel, is located in the urban district of Ingombotas.

This space, according to a statement from the Ministry of Tourism, to which VerAngola had access, "presents an exclusive concept, aligned with the 'go outside in here' philosophy", that is, the restaurant aims to "provide its customers with international experiences without leaving the country, reinforcing Angolan culture and hospitality with a global touch".

Furthermore, the space also stands out for having themed rooms. One of these rooms is dedicated to the country's first President, António Agostinho Neto.

"One of the highlights of the restaurant is the private room dedicated to the Founder of the Nation, Dr. António Agostinho Neto, which pays tribute to his memory and historical legacy", reads the statement.

In addition to the Agostinho Neto room, the restaurant also has four other themed rooms "named after great icons of peace", namely Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., Nelson Mandela and Wangari Maathai.

This new space created more than 10 new jobs, consolidating itself as "a reference space for social and corporate meetings, contributing to the development of business tourism in the country".

On the occasion, Márcio Daniel, mentioned in the statement, highlighted the importance of the "enterprise for strengthening tourism in Angola, particularly in the business segment".

The holder of the tourism portfolio also said that "initiatives like this are aligned with the Angolan Government's long-term vision for the tourism sector, by creating jobs and boosting the local economy."

The Casanova Group's PCA, Amin Herji, spoke about the choice of those figures for the themed rooms. According to the official, "these figures were chosen because they symbolize emblematic struggles for justice, equality and harmony, values that 'Viva Luanda Privé' seeks to celebrate and perpetuate in its environment and service."
