Among those called up, three are playing in Portugal, namely goalkeeper Ricardo Batista, from Casa Pia, and defenders Jonathan Buatu and Sandro Cruz, both from Gil Vicente.
Angola will face their counterparts from Niger on 11 October, at the 11 de Novembro stadium, in Luanda, and four days later they will visit the Nigeriens, in matches of the third and fourth rounds.
Angola leads Group F, with six points, followed by Sudan, which has three, while Ghana and Niger have one point each.
The biggest African football tournament will be played from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026, in Morocco.
