João Lourenço denies intention to exonerate the administrations of Sonangol and the petroleum agency

João Lourenço, who was speaking to journalists at the end of his visit to the urban district of Ramiros, south of Luanda, where he participated in the mangrove reforestation campaign, said that throughout his term he has been "very discreet" in his "plays".

"If you look at my way of acting, in these four years in office, I tend to be very discreet when making changes, there are very rare cases in which society notices the move I intend to make in this or that one in advance. sector," said the President.

Responding to journalists when asked about the alleged intention to dismiss the boards of directors of the state oil company Sonangol and ANPG, as reported by some websites, the President denied such intention.

According to João Lourenço, it is very rare for society to realize when it intends to move, guaranteeing that "it hasn't changed" and its way of acting and that the aforementioned information is mere speculation.

"Therefore, I have not changed my way of acting, which means to say that what has been said for some time in relation to changes both in the direction of Sonangol and ANPG is mere speculation, let them talk about why it will not happen", assured.

João Lourenço was present at the signing of a cooperation agreement between Sonangol and the Otchiva association, which works in the planting and conservation of mangroves, which aims to implement the "Blue Carbon" project for the reforestation of mangroves.

The head of state, his wife and other members of his delegation also planted some mangrove seeds in the coastal area of ​​the Tapu community, urban district of Ramiros, south of Luanda.
