The meeting served to address "issues related to bilateral relations".
The ambassador, speaking at the end of the meeting, considered that relations between Angola and the US are "increasingly positive".
Quoted in a note posted on Facebook by the Presidency of the Republic, Nina Fite said that the meeting with the head of State would also serve to assess the "results of the last visit that President João Lourenço made to Washington in the first half of September".
