According to a statement from IGAPE, this initiative aims to respond to requests submitted by several investors interested in the aforementioned competition, who had difficulties in submitting electronic applications.
The public tender, which takes the form of an electronic auction, has as its objective the privatization of the following agro-industrial undertakings: Slaughterhouse Modelar de Malanje, located in the province of Malanje; Caxito Agro-industrial Complex, located in Bengo, comprising the Entreposto Frigorifico de Caxito and the Caxito Tomato Processing Factory; Namibe Agro-industrial Complex, located in Namibe, comprising the Namibe Frigorific Entreposto and Namibe Tomato Processing Factory; and Dombe Grande Agro-Industrial Complex, located in Benguela, comprising the Dombe Grande Frigorific Warehouse, Dombe Grande Can Factory and Dombe Grande Tomato Processing Factory.
Visits to agro-industrial units can be made until November 12th.
The privatization program, launched by the Government in 2019, comprises around 190 assets from different areas, including Angolan reference companies.
