Angolan nominated as one of the 100 most heard leadership voices on the African continent

An Angolan was named, by the “Leading Women Award”, as one of the 100 most heard leadership voices in Africa in the last 100 days. This is Cumbi Júnior, president of the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Angola (ANJE-Angola), whose nomination aims to recognize “his active role in the empowerment of young Angolan entrepreneurs”.

According to a statement from ANJE-Angola, to which VerAngola had access, the recognition took place recently, and aims to highlight African leaders "whose voices echo change, innovation and progress".

"Cumbi Júnior, president of the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Angola (ANJE-Angola), was recently named by the 'Leading Women Award' as one of the 100 most heard voices on the African continent in the last 100 days. This recognition highlights African leaders whose voices echo change, innovation and progress in various areas, promoting the development of the continent", the statement reads.

The nomination of the president of ANJE-Angola in the '100 Days Voices' initiative recognizes "his active role in empowering young Angolan entrepreneurs and promoting a new era of entrepreneurship in the country", the association adds.

At the head of the association, Cumbi Júnior has been a "central figure in the development of strategies that encourage entrepreneurship as a tool for social and economic transformation, especially in challenging times".

Alongside the Angolan, the list also includes names such as the President of Rwanda, Paul Kangame, as well as Adamu Abubakar, an academic and activist from Nigeria, and Kofi Atta Annan, former president of the African Union.
