It should be noted that the second General Population and Housing Census begins on the 19th of this month and will last for 30 days. The census will have the motto "Together We Count for Angola" and will cover the entire country.
"The National Institute of Statistics, responsible for its implementation, guarantees that all the conditions have been created for the launch of this mega statistical operation to collect demographic and housing data throughout the country, involving more than 92 thousand professionals, including census takers, technical assistants, logisticians and drivers", the statement also states, adding that, for the success of this activity, "the Executive has made available around 30 billion kwanzas to cover the expenses related to the preparation of the 2024 census".
