The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, guided the meeting of the National Security Council, which took place this Monday at the Presidential Palace.

In a statement, to which VerAngola had access, CIPRA only reported on the completion of the meeting, without providing details on what was discussed: "The National Security Council met today [Monday] at the Presidential Palace, in a session guided by by the President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of the Angolan Armed Forces, João Lourenço".
