FNLA refuses to present governance proposals to parliament

The president of the National Liberation Front of Angola (FNLA), Nimi a Simbi, said this Friday that the party will not take proposals to parliament during the next five years, considering that the governance program is that of the MPLA.

:

"The program that will be implemented is that of the MPLA and not that of the FNLA. We are not going to present anything. We are just going to take advantage of what is good in the MPLA program, which won the elections, and we are going to support it, because democracy works this way", assured.

The politician who, for the first time, will be part of parliament, as head of his party's list, reaffirmed that Angolans do not expect anything in relation to the MPLA's governance in the next five years, as he understands that, over more 40 years, the ruling party in Angola has not been able to fulfill the aspirations of the Angolan people.

Nimi a Simbi reacted this Friday on the sidelines of the inauguration of the deputies to the parliament, after the investiture of the President this Thursday, in Luanda.
