According to a CFL press release, a train transported 440 cubic meters of gas in eleven tank cars.

The train departed from the Muceques station in Luanda at 5:00 am to Malange station.

"The last significant experience of transporting this product by Rail dates back to 1988, having been paralyzed due to the armed conflict," the statement said.

CFL states that with the resumption of this service, the company plans to carry out this type of transport on a weekly basis.

The Luanda Railroad, with a length of 479 kilometers, connects the provinces of Luanda, Cuanza Norte and Malanje.
