IGAE will supervise the correction process of the public tender for PGL

A multi-sectoral commission was created to supervise the process of correction of the tests of the public competition for access to vacancies in the Provincial Government of Luanda (PGL). The commission, made up of technicians from PGL, the Ministry of Education, the General State Inspection (IGAE) and technicians from municipal human resources offices, aims to "give greater transparency and smoothness to the correction of tests".

According to information provided by the PGL in a statement published on its Facebook page, the process of correcting the exams, which began on Tuesday, September 14, at the PGL building (where all the exams taken last Saturday are gathered), is divided into three phases: "coding of the exams and clipping of the candidates' data, correction of the tests, insertion of the codes for subsequent entry of grades".

In the note, the GPL states that "fraud will not be possible, since the members in charge of correcting the tests have no way of knowing whose test is being corrected, since they only receive the tests with the codes and without the candidates' names".

As for entering the codes and entering the marks into the system, the PGL states that "there will be no way of distinguishing between the exams, since they receive the corrected exams with the codes, previously entered into the system without the names".

In addition, in order to ensure "greater smoothness and transparency," the process is being overseen by IGAE.

The grades will be published in the usual places (municipal administrations, on the official pages of the PGL and municipal administrations), indicates the PGL, asking candidates to remain calm and wait for the lists in the said places.

"For those registered candidates, who were unable to participate in the September 11 exams, because it was on a Saturday, due to belonging to the Seventh-day Adventist Church, they may be admitted on Friday, September 17," the statement indicates.

The note also warns that those who signed up for two vacancies, Middle Technicians and Higher Technicians, will see their applications deleted: "A call for attention goes to those candidates who signed up for two applications, Middle Technicians and Higher Technicians. For these, the system will automatically delete both applications because it does not support two applications with the same data".
