According to a Government Facebook post, the hospital has the capacity to accommodate 230 beds. It will also have available "20 specialized services, such as Gyneco-obstetrics, Pediatrics, Neonatology, Surgery, Nephrology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Psychiatry, Stomatology and Otorhinolaryngology, among others".
The hospital unit will count on the collaboration of about 100 doctors and "a workforce of a thousand technicians, including doctors, nurses, diagnostic technicians and administrative staff," indicates the note.
The work - which cost about 48 million dollars and started in 2018 - was visited in October last year by João Lourenço, who at the time noted "the good rhythm" of the work.
