The event, which began this Monday, takes place under the motto "A World Mobilized for Health, Health for All", and features 47 representatives from States in the African Region Members of the WHO and Health Support Development partners in the African region.
"In this session, the results will be analyzed and the health challenges that our region still faces and the means to mitigate their effects on populations across the region will be discussed", says the Ministry of Health in a statement to which VerAngola had access.
At the meeting, the new WHO Regional Director for Africa will also be elected, with candidates representing Cote D'Ivoire, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal and Tanzania.
