According to the official, who was speaking at a press conference at the end of the second ordinary session of the National Road and Traffic Planning Council, the procedures to implement this examination are already underway.
"The procedures for the implementation of the said exams are already being carried out. In November of this year they will come into force", he informed, quoted by Angop.
To be implemented by the National Directorate of Roads and Traffic, the multimedia exam is expected to start from the first half of November, writes Angop.
The implementation of this new examination model, according to the person in charge, is one of the council's various measures to be put into practice with a view to reducing the number of road accidents.
Cited by Angop, Arnaldo Carlos also considered that excessive speed, irregular overtaking, as well as other violations of the road code, show the lack of training of several drivers, advanced that it is considered imperative and urgent to insert this type of exam, since to be more rigorous with regard to assessing the skills of future drivers, helping to reduce road accidents.
