According to a communiqué from the ZEE to which VerAngola had access, this agreement "establishes the bases for the creation of an industrial complex, specialized in the production of bio-products, also known as biological products. These revolutionary products are derived from biological sources, such such as micro-organisms, plant and animal cells.
With an investment of around US$30 million, the project is expected to be completed by March 2025.
"Through this strategic collaboration, we are about to witness the materialization of an undertaking that will not only boost industrial innovation, but will also contribute to the expansion of the national business sector", the statement also states.
The ZEE also refers that this is another "firm step" in the search to diversify the national economy, which will provide job opportunities and make the country "leader in the vanguard of the production of biodiesel-products".
