The interest was expressed this Wednesday, during a forum between investors from Angola and Japan, which took place at the Money Museum.

On the occasion, the businessman informed that they are building a "satellite network for the management of natural resources and exploration of minerals" and that they intend to proceed with investment in Angola's rural areas.

"We are building a satellite network for the management of natural resources and mineral exploration, so at first we want to start investing in rural areas of Angola," he said, quoted by Angop.

The president of Ark Edge Space also said he was "convinced that Angola is a very powerful country to invest in and that, in addition to gold, it has many rare metals".

He was also pleased to be present at the meeting, as his intentions include investment in the technological field.

Fátima Almeida, executive director of BayQi – who also attended the forum – said that Angola has the technical conditions to ensure electronic payments between companies from Angola and Japan that wish to invest in the national market, writes Angop.

AIPEX encourages Japanese businessmen to invest in the production of basic goods

Also during the forum between Angolan and Japanese businessmen, the Private Investment and Export Promotion Agency (AIPEX) left a word of encouragement to Japanese businessmen, in the sense of investing in the installation of aviaries, chicken production, among other goods in the basket basic.

According to Lello Francisco, chairman of the Board of Directors (PCA) of AIPEX, investing in the production of basic basket products is assumed as an immediate need in national terms, writes Angop.

With regard to business relations, he considered that the country "could gain in telecommunications and technology, areas in which the Japanese dominate".

He also left an invitation to Japanese businessmen, within the framework of business between the two countries, to bet on the various potentialities of Angola. Cited by Angop, the AIPEX official pointed to the Special Economic Zone as a place that provides capacity and a business environment, stressing that the economic zone has good conditions to implement industries that are relevant to the Japanese people.
