Paulo Gaspar, president of the Huíla Agro-Livestock, Commercial and Industrial Association (AAPCIL), explained that the amount is provisional, as business starts within the event, but continues beyond the enclosure's doors, writes Angop.
Among the businesses, the official highlighted the sale of cereals and pulses, such as corn, beans, among others.
Cited by Angop, Paulo Gaspar classified the balance as "positive", indicating that they will continue to "increase the expansion and restructuring works of the enclosure": "The balance is positive and we will continue to increase the expansion and restructuring works of the enclosure and have a space for at least 450 exhibitors, in the 30th edition, in 2023".
He also made it known that around 5000 people visited Expo-Huíla daily, writes Angop.
A total of 320 companies, including Namibian, Chinese, South African, Portuguese and Italian, were present at the event, which took place between 10 and 14 August in Lubango.
