The information was provided by the company's commercial director, Nelson Gabriel, during the third day of Expo-Huíla. The official explained that this is meat from cattle raised in an extensive regime, with permanent pasture and in confinement a hundred days before slaughter, in order to improve the quality of the product. During this period, the animal's diet is based on concentrated ration and developed with cereals produced by the farm itself.

The main destination of the farm's meat is catering, especially with regard to the provinces of Luanda and Huíla. The director added that, taking into account the farm's production, the company plans to open its own butcher's shop in Lubango.

"The amount of meat placed on the market is according to the needs, in addition to producing for our group, we are gradually taking safe steps towards large-scale commercialization, as well as fruit and vegetables, both in Huíla and in Luanda", he explained, quoted by Angop.

Fazenda Mumba also has horticultural production, corn, beans, soybeans, fruit and forestry.

It is located 45 kilometers from the village of Cuvango, with a total area of 44,000 hectares. The project, started in 2015, has more than 3,000 heads of cattle, with the objective of reaching 50,000 heads in the next five years.
