"It is very important (my vote) and especially in this sprint towards the humanization of Angola, taking this step is fundamental, it is the feeling of personal and collective accomplishment, both mine, the party and the citizen", said Florbela Malaquias, who voted in the neighborhood of Maculusso, urban district of Ingombota, in Luanda.

Speaking at the end of the assembly, where she exercised her right to vote, the president of the humanists reaffirmed that she "will humanize Angola" in case of victory, in these fifth general elections.

"They can wait [Angolans] for the humanization of the country completely dehumanized in every way, in the material, spiritual, moral sense and so I am convinced that all together we can build a more reasonable, more normal sociability, because we live in an abnormal way", stressed.

The fifth general elections perpetuate the dispute between the country's two main parties, the MPLA and UNITA, which are trying to win a majority of the 220 seats in the National Assembly.

In total, eight political formations are running, trying to win the vote of 14.4 million voters. The approximately 13,000 polling stations in the country and the diaspora will be open between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm (same time in Lisbon).
