The European mission arrived in Angola last Thursday and is headed by the European Union Ambassador to Angola, Jeannette Seppen.
It also has the presence of Tânia Maria Magalhães Marques and Alexandre Gray, both responsible for the European External Action Service (SEAE).
During the audience with Laurinda Cardoso, the European mission received explanations about the tasks carried out by the Constitutional Court, within the framework of its attributions regarding the Angolan electoral process.
Counselor judges Gilberto Magalhães and Conceição Sango also participated in the meeting.
The general elections, the fifth ballot in the country's political history, are scheduled for 24 August and mobilize eight political groups, which have been campaigning since 24 July.
More than 14 million voters are registered on the electoral roll, including around 22,000 Angolans residing abroad.
