According to the epidemiological bulletin of the National Directorate of Public Health, the positive cases were reported in the provinces of Huila (62), Luanda (58), Zaire (14), Lunda Sul (13), Huambo (seven), Benguela, Namibe, Moxico (four each), Cuando Cubango, Cuanza Sul (three each), Lunda Norte (two), Bié and Cuanza Norte (one each), with ages between 1 and 93 years, 124 males and 52 females.
As for deaths, four males and three females, aged between 44 and 80 years, were reported in the provinces of Cunene (two), Lunda Sul (two), Bié, Luanda and Zaire (one each).
In the same period, 215 people between 1 and 69 years old were considered recovered from the disease in the provinces of Lunda Norte (69), Huambo (49), Moxico (41), Cunene (32), Huila (eight), Zaire (five), Namibe (four), Lunda Sul (four), Luanda (two) and Cuando Cubango (one).
Angola totals 44,174 positive cases, 1070 deaths, 41,024 recoveries and 2080 active cases, of which 12 are critical, 28 severe, 79 moderate, 27 mild and 1934 asymptomatic. 146 people are hospitalized, 231 are in institutional quarantine and 649 contacts are under epidemiological surveillance.
The laboratories processed in the last 24 hours 2432 samples by RT-PCR, making a cumulative of 846,978 processed samples, with a positivity rate of 5.2 percent.
