Angolan Pedro Hossi participates in a program that wants to promote lusophone representation at international level

Angolan actor Pedro Hossi - who in April this year placed Angola in the top 10 most viewed content on Netflix in Portugal and the United States with the film "Sérgio" - will participate in September in the program "Passport 2020", which aims to promote names of the Lusophone representation internationally.

This is a great opportunity for the Angolan, as Pedro Hossi will be in contact with several international directors. Meetings that may open doors for him to participate in future TV or film productions.

This year, the programme will take place between 23 and 27 September in Lisbon.

The casting directors of the Netflix series "White Lines", Leo Davis and Lissy Holm, the casting directors of the Spanish series "La Casa de Papel", Eva Leira and Yola Serrano, and Lisa Stutzy, the casting director of the German film "System Crasher", write Opaís.

The casting directors are joined by 12 actors, chosen through an application process: Daniela Ruah, Pepé Rapazote, Alba Baptista, Rita Blanco, Beatriz Batarda, Gonçalo Waddington, Joana Seixas, Rui Melo, Pedro Hossi, Greg Barker and Jaqueline Corado.

The main objective of "Passport 2020" - created by the Portuguese Film Academy - is to enable Portuguese-speaking artists to participate in future film and television productions.
