The film reached the (small) screens of thousands of homes around the world last Friday, April 17th, and in less than a week it is already a success. In the top 10 in Portugal, "Sérgio" ranks fifth. In the American ranking the numbers don't differ much: the film occupies the sixth place.

The Netflix production tells the life story of Brazilian diplomat Sérgio Vieira de Mello, who was killed during an attack on the United Nations (UN) headquarters in Baghdad, Iraq, in 2003.

The Brazilian diplomat is played by Wagner Sousa, who suggested Pedro Hossi for the role of Xanana Gusmão, former president of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste. In an interview with Must, the Angolan actor revealed that the invitation happened through an e-mail: "The e-mail made a mention of Wagner's name, which I had known a few years ago, through Lazarus Ramos".

Pedro Hossi has a vast international career: the Angolan has participated in four Portuguese soap operas, several plays and created a podcast where he conducts a series of interviews with personalities.
