The forecast was pointed out by the management of the event, which takes place with the motto "Lunda Norte, Prosperity, Agriculture as a decisive factor for Development" and is part of the celebrations of the province's 45th anniversary, writes Angop.
Speaking at the opening of the event, Frederico Barroso, deputy governor for the social, political and economic sector, admitted that Expo-Dundo is a marketing tool and dissemination of the economic potential that the province has at its disposal, as well as a place to attract private investment.
Cited by Angop, the vice-governor referred that the province "does not live on diamonds only", having other opportunities in areas such as agriculture, commerce, among others: "Lunda Norte does not live only on diamonds, it has business opportunities in other sectors such as agriculture, hotels, commerce, restaurants, culture and arts, which only need private investment".
On the occasion, he also took the opportunity to inform that the provincial government has been working with several businessmen and also multinationals, to call them to Lunda Norte in order to set up businesses, with the aim of diversifying the economy and boosting employment, writes Angop.
According to Angop, over the four days of the event, around 212 exhibitors from different sectors will exhibit the best of the region. Participating are businessmen from the province, but also from other provinces of the country, such as Luanda, Benguela, Cabinda, among others.
