José Otávio Van-Dúnem referred that, in the council's second plenary session, despite not being scheduled this theme "ended up appearing in the various presentations".

"And it was recommended that the groups, namely from the economic and business area, reflect on making contributions as urgent as possible on it", underlined the official.

Nunes Borges, member of the CES from the business area, more specifically from the industry, considered that "within a few weeks there will be almost an exchange rate stabilization, in fact, perhaps, a calm in the exchange market".

The adviser underlined that one of the factors for the devaluation of the kwanza is the lack of domestic production, which is still "very limited".

"And because we have these risks of dependence on a product that is oil, whenever prices fluctuate on the international market we immediately have a chain reaction negative from an economic and financial point of view", observed Nunes Borges, recalling that the current phase "is very difficult for the producers".
