"On the 17th of July, at 9:00 am, the Luxury Train - Rovos will arrive in the Municipality of Luau, in the Province of Moxico, coming from the City of Dar Es Salaam, United Republic of Tanzania, with 60 tourists of various nationalities on board", informed the guardianship, in a statement to which VerAngola had access.
The train's itinerary also includes passages through some municipalities in the country. According to the statement, in addition to the Luau, the itinerary will also include Luena, Kuito, Huambo and Lobito (where the trip will end on July 21).
This is the second trip of this style, since, according to the note, the first trip of the kind took place between July and August 2019.
"The organization of the tourist event is the responsibility of the South African company 'Rovos Rail', which in Angola has the support of the Travel and Tourism Agencies Kitanda and Travelgest", completes the note.
According to Angop, on the day of its arrival in the country, the train will stay during the morning at Luau, leaving at 1 pm for Luena, where it is scheduled to arrive at 8 pm.
On the 18th of July, you will leave Luena at 1:00 pm towards Bié (arrival at 8:00 pm). The next day you will leave Bié at 1:00 pm towards Huambo, where you will arrive at 8:00 pm.
On the 20th of July, it leaves Huambo at 1:00 pm towards Cubal (arrival at 8:00 pm). On the last day, departure from Cubal takes place at 6:00 am, heading to the last destination, Lobito (arrival at 10:00 am).
