This information comes from Carlos de Sousa, director of the Kalandula tourism development hub.
"We manage one of Angola's largest tourism assets, the Kalandula Falls. This access to tourist sites will allow us to charge a fee of 880 kwanzas," he said, as quoted by Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA).
According to him, "the perimeter of the Kalandula Falls" has been receiving visitors, especially on weekends and month-ends, with daily visitor numbers sometimes reaching four digits.
"Sometimes we receive up to 1000 tourists a day," he said.
This measure, he added, will generate revenue for the state.
"This way, we will contribute to the diversification of our economy," he added.
