Launched in early April for testing phase, the platform will now be made available to the general public, announced the national director of the Office of Ethics and Humanization, Gervásio André Pukuta, without indicating a specific date for the official launch to the public.
The responsible, in statements to Angop, explained that in a first phase the platform can be used in a computer or smartphone, through the Internet. However, he made it known that negotiations are underway with the institutions for it to be possible to use the platform via message.
Explaining that the platform "will not abolish face-to-face consultations in hospitals, nor prevent urgent cases from going straight to the hospital without making appointments", Gervásio André Pukuta added that the test phase is well under way.
He also made it known that the creation of the proposal for the National Policy for Humanization and Health is pending approval. According to the responsible, this policy intends to stimulate the work of health professionals so that the population may have better health.
Speaking on the sidelines of the dialogue on hospital humanization with professionals from the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technology and Social Communication, the official informed that in the meeting some ideas on the quality of care were exposed and said that it is necessary to work towards changing mentalities and promoting health and well-being.
