Public tender to privatize agro-industrial enterprises opens July 29

The Institute for Management of Assets and State Holdings (IGAPE) will open, on 29 July, a public tender to privatize agro-industrial enterprises. At stake are the Dombe Grande Industrial Complex, the Namibe Industrial Complex and the Model Slaughterhouse of Malange.

"As part of the Privatisation Programme (PROPRIV), approved by Presidential Decree No. 250/19, of 5 August, the Institute for Management of State Assets and Equity (IGAPE), as the body responsible for implementing PROPRIV, reports that within 20 days, starting from 9 July, the public tender for the privatisation" of agro-industrial enterprises will be opened, IGAPE said in a statement sent to VerAngola.

The three projects in question are: the Dombe Grande Industrial Complex, the Namibe Industrial Complex and the Model Slaughterhouse in Malange.

According to the statement, the transaction will be carried out "virtually, via the PROPRIV electronic auction platform, via public tender procedures in the form of Sale of Assets, as these have already been on the market, but have not been awarded".

IGAPE also made it known that "a special authorization will be issued so that investors can visit the developments that are in various parts of the country," and that interested parties should "indicate, by e-mail, the names of the representatives and their companies, as well as the asset they intend to visit".
