The Chinese businessman expressed this intention during a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, held this Thursday in Changsha, China.

"The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 4th edition of the China-Africa Economic and Trade Exhibition (CAETE), which is being held in Hunan province, and served as an opportunity for the Chinese businessman to present to the head of Angolan diplomacy the company's plan for the development of tourism in Angola," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarified in a statement to which VerAngola had access.

On the occasion, Shen Qin told Téte António that the "general management of the company he runs is making efforts to convince the Angolan side to resume the Luanda-Guangzhou air link, which has been suspended for some time."

Furthermore, according to the note, the Chinese businessman also mentioned that his company "intends to invest in tourism because he believes that Angola has significant tourism potential, with a unique combination of natural landscapes, cultural diversity, rich history and wildlife".

Shen Qin also said he was "enchanted by Angola's natural beauty, as well as its ecotourism and wildlife, historical and cultural heritage, culture and traditions and adventure tourism".

"During the conversation, director Shen Qin referred to the Kissama National Park, the Namibe Desert, Kalandula Waterfalls, Pungo Andongo Black Stones and paradisiacal beaches, such as Baía Azul, Cabo-Ledo and Mussulo", says the statement.

The meeting was attended by Dalva Ringote Allen, Angola's ambassador to China, Miguel Dialamicua, director of Asia and Oceania, José Paulino da Silva, director of International Cooperation, and António Nascimento, director of Institutional Communication and Press.
