"Angola's tourism has been gaining increasing visibility in the international press, especially in specialized publications from Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Several portals have recently highlighted the country as an authentic destination, rich in culture, natural beauty, and unique traditions, putting Angola on the map of new tourist routes of global interest," the government said in a statement that VerAngola had access to.
The ethnic and cultural diversity of the Angolan people, among other aspects, is one of the aspects praised in foreign reports.
"The reports praise the ethnic and cultural diversity of the Angolan people, focusing on traditional communities and their sustainable ways of life, as well as the wild and little-explored natural landscapes, such as the Atlantic coast, the Namib Desert, and natural parks," the statement reads.
Thus, the country is described as an "undiscovered African treasure," with "immense potential for adventure, cultural, and ecological tourism, attractive especially to travelers seeking genuine experiences connected to the roots of humanity."
"This growing international attention converges with the Executive's strategy to diversify the economy, positioning tourism as a strategic development sector," the Ministry further states.
Publications about Angola were published on websites such as aboutTravel and Falstaff Travel, among others.
