The official, speaking to Angop, said that the majority of visitors are nationals: of the 2532 tourists, a total of 2377 are nationals, while the remaining 155 are foreigners, coming from countries such as Portugal, Brazil, Belgium, France, the United States of America and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
It is worth remembering that on July 8, 2017, the Historic Center of Mbanza Congo was classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and since then, according to the official, it has attracted the attention of several tourists, both national and foreign, who want to discover its history on site.
