In partnership with Standard Bank de Angola, S.A., with Áurea – Sociedade Distribuidora de Valores Mobiliários, S.A., and with Lwei Mansa Musa Brokers – Sociedade Corretora de Valores Mobiliários, S.A., it was possible to raise a global amount of 8,186,950,000,00 kwanzas, corresponding to 163,739 participation units of the aforementioned fund.
The 163,739 participation units were formally admitted to trading by BODIVA in the MBUP, resulting in the corollary of the operation that began on January 9, 2024.
"It is another challenge overcome and a great achievement for SGA, having the first investment fund under management admitted to trading on the stock exchange. From today [Friday], in the case of a closed-end fund, subscribers will have greater flexibility, as they will not need to wait for the maturity of the fund to sell their participation units, thus providing liquidity to the instrument. This milestone reinforces our commitment to becoming effective as a 'GPS' of investments in Africa, democratizing access for all Angolans to the best investment opportunities", said António Catana, CEO of Standard Gestão de Activos.
The 125 participants in Standard Rendimento now have the opportunity to realize capital gains by trading their participation units on the secondary market. At the same time, investors – not participants in the fund – will have the possibility of purchasing Standard Rendimento participation units.
The market (BODIVA) gains another instrument, MBUP is activated again and investors now have another investment option on the stock exchange, confirming SGA's commitment to building a diversified offer of instruments available in the country's capital market.
