Former minister appointed to the post of Inspector General of State Administration

The President, João Lourenço, appointed this Thursday Ângelo de Barros da Veiga Tavares to the position of Inspector General of State Administration (IGAE), after being exonerated from the position of consultant to the head of state.

Ângelo de Barros da Veiga Tavares, former Minister of the Interior, will take over from Sebastião Domingos Gunza, now chief judge of the Court of Auditors.

João Lourenço, in a decree, also ended the mandate of Maria Juliana de Carvalho Van-Dúnem de Fontes Pereira as executive director of the board of directors of the National Bank of Angola (BNA).

The person in charge was appointed to the position of deputy governor of the BNA, while Marília de Fátima Trindade Viana Paços was appointed to the position of executive director of the board of directors of the central bank.
