With this agreement, TAAG will support ECOWAS in terms of promoting the link between Angola and the member countries of the community.
In a statement cited by Angop, the flagship airline explains that the opening of new routes and the creation of regular flights between Angola and the countries of the West African sub-region will allow TAAG to provide passengers with greater comfort and speed of travel.
In the Southern African region, TAAG already operates some routes, particularly to South Africa, Namibia, Mozambique and the Democratic Republic of Congo. By starting to operate routes to ECOWAS countries, the national company consolidates the positioning of Luandao as the main hub for traffic distribution between the two sub-regions of the continent.
The promotion, invention and mobilization of investments and financing from the countries of the community to Angola and vice versa are the objectives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Angola of the ECOWAS countries.
