Inadec launches free phone line to answer complaints and denouncements

The National Institute for Consumer Protection (Inadec) launched this Tuesday a free consumer helpline to answer complaints, complaints and legal aid.

In a press release, sent to Lusa, Inadec states that the line, with the number 126, is free for the fixed and mobile network and will operate from Monday to Friday between 08h00 and 18h00 and is extended to the entire national territory.

Inadec states that the number 938 405 823 will continue to operate, however, for customer service from 6pm onwards and on Saturdays and Sundays, "the other numbers that used to support the consumer will cease to operate".

According to the National Institute for Consumer Defence, an organ of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the call-center created to "facilitate and exonerate the economic heritage of the consumer, giving primacy to the greater rapprochement of the State administration with the citizen".
