Africell, via its official Facebook page, announced that Huambo will be its "next stop."
"It's official: Africell is coming to Huambo! This will be our next stop, a vibrant and welcoming province that is ready to be part of the great 'Africell family,'" the operator's post reads.
Although it didn't provide a specific date, the company has indicated August as the month for its arrival in the province: "Africell arrives in Huambo in August."
The "kick-off" for this expansion was already set this Wednesday, with a recruitment drive the company is holding at the Huambo Cultural Center.
Therefore, between 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm this Wednesday, the company will be at the aforementioned center looking for new talent to join the 'Africell family.'
According to another post from the operator, they are looking for agents with communication skills.
"If you have a communicative profile and would like to work with us, this is your opportunity," the company writes, adding that the event will take place at the Huambo Cultural Center until 7:00 pm.
"Bring your ID and your good spirits! Come find out how you can become an Africell agent," it adds.
Africell has already reached five provinces in the country, namely Luanda, Benguela, Huíla, Cuanza Sul, and Bengo. This list will soon be expanded with the launch of its services in Huambo.
