The fences were set up this Monday in the Sapu district in Viana and in the Diamante Hotel after two cases of local transmission emerged.

One case concerns a 45-year-old Angolan woman. According to Jornal de Angola, the patient is connected to one of the cases of local transmission of the Multiperfil Clinic - which is also closed with a sanitary fence.

So far, the Angolan woman is stable and has no symptoms. The woman lives in the Olívia condominium, in the district of Sapu, with six other people, including her husband and children, who have already been placed in quarantine.

The authorities have also isolated the residents of that condominium, which has a total of 47 inhabitants.

In addition to direct contact with the residents of his home, sources of the condominium, in statements to the newspaper Jornal de Angola, said that his wife had direct contact with about nine people in the Rocha Pinto district.

As for the Diamante Hotel, the emergence of a positive case made the hotel close doors. All the people in the unit will be tested.
