The return of the proof of life at all service stations of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS), brings a new measure: the digital proof of life, which allows pensioners to complete the respective test without having to leave the comfort of their residence.
Cited by Angop, the official explained that this innovation aims to put a brake on the high number of people who travel to the INSS service stations.
Speaking at the 5th briefing with journalists, Pedro Filipe took the opportunity to mention that there was an increase in taxpayers, policyholders and pensioners.
Regarding taxpayers, he said that in the first three months of this year, there was an increase of around 2.7 percent (215,409 registered compared to the 209,846 registered last year).
The insured increased by 1.8 percent, from 2,130,287 last year to 2,167,687 this year. Pensioners grew by about 1.5 percent (from 193,394 in 2021 to 196,302 this year).
