João Lourenço is already in Paris for a meeting on African economies

President João Lourenço left this Sunday for Paris where he will participate in a high-level meeting on African economies and meet with his counterparts in France and South Africa and the Portuguese Prime Minister, António Costa.

The event, which takes place on Tuesday, is an initiative of the French Government, with the involvement of the African Union, and will allow debate on aspects such as the debt of African countries, private investment, the construction of infrastructure and reforms of African nations.

According to a note from the Civil House of the President of the Republic, on the sidelines of the event, João Lourenço will have bilateral meetings with the French President, Emmanuel Macron, with the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa and with the Prime Minister of Portugal, António Costa .

The return of the head of state to Luanda is scheduled for Wednesday, the note said.

The meeting is attended by other African leaders, including the President of Mozambique, Filipe Nyusi, and Europeans such as Mario Draghi, Italian Prime Minister, or Pedro Sánchez, Spanish Prime Minister.
