According to the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, 8896 people took the first dose, while 20,420 received the second dose.
With these data, Angola counts 888,105 people vaccinated since the beginning of the campaign, on 2 March, of which 672,043 with the first dose and 216,062 with the second.
In a government statement to which VerAngola had access, Franco Mufinda informed that the Cidadela Desportiva vaccination post will exclusively administer the first dose of the vaccine. The stations of the Casa da Juventude, in Viana, and the "Mutu Ya Kevela", now apply only the second dose, whereas in "Paz Flor" the two doses will be provided.
National Police agents will be served at the Serra Van-Dúnem Institute and the military at R20.
The reorganization of services at vaccination posts was a decision of the Multisectoral Commission for Prevention and Combat against covid-19, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Luanda.
