According to the Executive, in a statement to which VerAngola had access, with this IT solution, "the high number of forms previously required when opening a company is unnecessary".
The information was provided by Irineu Matamba, director of the company's office, in a webinar on improving the business environment with regard to starting a company, organized by the Ministry of Economy and Planning.
The official explained that the new platform starts to synchronize all information, bringing an advance in the process of starting a company, since the publication of acts of incorporation of commercial companies in Diário da República is no longer required, as it was the case until the past year.
Likewise, the mandatory registration of the constitution, books of minutes from the commercial registry office and obtaining the business license for low-risk activities have been eliminated.
"All of these new advances have significantly reduced the time for setting up a company and the documents necessary for this purpose," said Irineu Matamba, saying that it is possible for any citizen to go to the Guiché and set up his company in an hour.
He admitted, however, that there are still more time consuming processes due to the reduction in the number of employees and working time. The official noted the changes imposed by the measures to control the covid-19 pandemic, which reduced working hours, whereas employees used to work until 8 pm and are now forced to end their work day at 3 pm.
"But the instruments are all at our disposal for better provision of public service," he concluded.
