Arrested alleged perpetrators of triple homicide in Luanda

Two men suspected of being responsible for a triple homicide that occurred on Tuesday in the capital, Luanda, were arrested, the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) announced.


According to the director of the Institutional Communication and Press office of the general director of SIC, Manuel Halaiwa, the alleged murderers, both 29 years old, were arrested on Wednesday.

Speaking to Lusa, the SIC official reported that the two detainees "confessed to the practice of the crime" and it was found that "in relation to the motive of the crime, an attempt was made to steal monetary values", having been seized the cell phone of one of the victims.

The bodies of a 51-year-old man, his son and a nephew were found on Tuesday in the trunk of a car in the central area of Kilamba, south of Luanda, after relatives of the victims reported their disappearance almost a year ago. week.

The alleged murderers, added Manuel Halaiwa, "will be present to the Public Prosecutor for criminal liability, while other procedures are underway."
