Happier and more satisfied. This is the main conclusion of the 'Drivers' Happiness Level' survey, which Yango carried out last month, among drivers registered with partner transport companies, and who use the application as a source of work and income.
According to the study, the number of satisfied drivers almost doubled compared to last year, with an increase of 18 percent. The data collected also indicates that 58 percent of these professionals classify their level of happiness with a high score, which varies between 4 and 5 points (5 being the highest level).
Ivan Mugimbo, director of Yango in Angola, stated that "these statistics demonstrate that all the work that Yango does to guarantee the professional and personal well-being of drivers who trust the application is worth it and is having a real impact on its happiness and quality of life".
"We carried out this study as part of International Driver's Day, which is celebrated on March 22nd. Yango wanted to take advantage of the date to recognize the work of each of its allies behind the wheel, who make it possible for users to move around the city in security," he commented.
According to the person responsible, "Yango's technology and dedication to the Angolan market make this application the best for drivers to find their passengers".
"Through an intelligent and automated system, Yango assigns trips to drivers much more quickly and efficiently, making the most of their working time and allowing them to generate higher income. Between bonuses and what they earn on their journeys, drivers who using the Yango app can earn up to one million kwanzas per month", he said, adding: "At the same time, we will continue to contribute to creating quality jobs and boosting the local economy".
Yango operates through a business model focused on collaboration with companies providing transport services with a presence in the country, helping them to grow and create more and better jobs for national drivers.
At the same time, Yango has its own safety devices and technology that allow both passengers and drivers to feel safe and comfortable during each trip.
