Yango arrives in Angola and is looking for drivers

Yango, an international transport application, arrived in Angola this Thursday. The platform, which is looking for drivers in Luanda, promises cheaper travel as well as greater comfort and safety.

The launch of this application in the country opened doors to job creation. According to a note made available on the company's website, Yango is looking for drivers in Luanda.

The company clarifies that those interested – who can submit their application through the Yango website – do not need to be professional drivers, adding that "some drivers work full-time with our partners, but there are many drivers who work part-time" .

In addition, drivers do not need to rent a car and can drive their own vehicles.

Luandans can now ride Yango

Residents of the capital can now use Yango to travel. Available in Portuguese for both Android and iOS systems, the platform will have rates starting at 500 kwanzas.

Using the application is simple: users just have to download the application and turn on the location service. Then just mention where you want to go and the application suggests the nearest driver, also establishing the fastest route.

Travel time and price are also calculated, which for now, according to a company statement quoted by Jornal de Angola, must be paid in cash. However, other payment methods will soon be available.

With the launch this Thursday, Angola became the sixth African country and the twentieth in the world to have this service.
