"Angola welcomes on April 12, 2024 the president of the African Football Confederation – CAF and an important delegation that will accompany him", reads a statement from the Angolan Football Federation (FAF), to which VerAngola had access.
According to the FAF note – which cites CAFonline –, during the visit, the CAF manager "will learn about the functioning of the FAF".
Furthermore, in the capital, Patrice Motsepe is expected to present greetings to official entities in the country, among other actions.
"In Luanda, the president of CAF will present his greetings to official Angolan entities and will also meet football leaders in Angola, namely, APF's, Class Associations, Clubs and Training Schools", points out the note.
According to FAF, the official program for your visit to the country will be "announced in due course".
It should be noted that South African Patrice Motsepe is the seventh president of the CAF, which was founded on February 8, 1957 by South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan.
